Starting a small home-based venture

The time has finally come to start my little clown venture. Here are my current ideas.
3- 29gl growout tanks
1- 29gl common sump
1- 5gl bucket dsb w/ mangroves
1- 5gl DIY wet-dry filter
6- 5.5gl larval tanks
1- ~30gl custom 60x10x12 w/ 8 divided areas within, broodstock tank for percs & occes
6- 10gl broostock tanks for maroons, skunks, and clarkii
1- DIY 3ft skimmer

+/- 240gl total volume

All tanks will be drilled and plumbed together with ball valve cutoffs. Larval tanks will have a foam filters. Will have phyto and roti cultures in large quantities.

I understand that there are not as many larval and growout tanks that i need, but i do no plan on keep a lot fish on hand & this is my initial setup that will have 14 pairs and may only have 5 or so breeding within 6 months if I'm lucky. AND when things start taking off i will expand.

Current broodstock:
Bonded Percula pair ~2"
Bonded Pink Skunk pair (M)~1.75" (F)~2.5 "

Perspective broodstock:
Picasso (on order)
Snowflake (on order)
Naked (on order)
2x B&W
2x Ocellaris
GSM
Maroon
Orange Skunk
Clarkii
Tomato

I am not here trying to advertise my biz. Just to get advise on my setup, since this is just going to be an expensive hobby venture for a good while.

All comments and suggestions are welcome, I only ask not to be flamed. But I am not against CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.

You will need more growout tanks. If you only have 3 30g tanks for growout you will be able to raise a few nests. It can talk longer than you think to grow out baby clowns.

It is preferred to have a growout(GO) system on its own setup. When you cram a bunch of babies in a lot of water the quality can go bad really fast. Isolating your GO will protect your breeding pairs. Protecting breeding pairs should be the priority in any setup.

should each GO tank have its own filtration or should they be linked together separate from the broodstock system but with its own wet-dry and skimmer?

If each GO tank should have its own filter then i think i will leave it plumbed to the common sump (but just like larval tanks, shut off to the sump 99% of the time) to help with w/ water changes between batches.

I have limited GO tanks due to size but im not expecting to have a lot of spawning pairs for a while. Even when i do, i will be either expanding to a bigger area or only harvest select nests to meet demand plus a little. AND i will be acquiring my broodstock over the next months. My next pair, excluding the juvis i have on order from ORA, is going to be ORA B&W or orange Occes.

What sucks about my ORA order is Picassos are a 1 month waiting list, Snowflakes are a 6 month wait!!!!!!!! If anyone has a pair of either hit me up, i do make regular trips to DFW and on occasion San Antonio, and can pick up fish in those areas

Growout with a common sump is fine. Just keep it away from your brood setup.

I have limited GO tanks due to size but im not expecting to have a lot of spawning pairs for a while.

That is fine just make sure you leave room for future expansion.
