I am building a dedicated SPS reef tank. What am I missing? Any suggestions will be appreciated. To start, I have the following...
My old 75 gal. reef ready Oceanic Tank, Durso Overflow, Clean & never had copper in it. I have it on a new 4' DFS Stand
New 16" X 24" Dual Bay (Skimmer/Return) DIY Sump
Older but working ReefOcto 150 Recirculating Skimmer w/ Mag 7 Feed pump
Small Phosban Reactor w/MJ1200 Feed Pump for GFO
Sicce Syncra 3.0 Return Pump
LitreMeter III w/ 2 Remote pumps for Ca, Alk & "Something Else"
2X older but working MP40ES units
2 Channel, dimmable, timer controlled, DIY 48X 3W Cree LED fixture (12 CW, 24 RB, 6 UV, 4 Cyan, 2 Red, No Optics)
Gravity Fed, Level Switch/Solenoid controlled, float valve protected, DIY ATO
OLD 75GPD RO/DI w/ new Carbon, gross filter, & new membrane.
I have bleached & acid bathed my old Fiji rock. It is in ASW to see if it is leaching phosphates. I can purchase some dry rock if more if needed. My plans now are to set up a simple Berlin System and dose 2 Part as needed. I think I'll use Red Sea ASW mix.
That's about as far as I've gotten. Any ideas?
