Hello all! I'm a member of a forum in the Mobile bay area, but i usually hear crickets when i post there. I'm setting up a 75 gallon and am of course looking for some things to throw in there. The family loves pulsing xenia and GSP. I'm interested in anything colorful and easy to keep in a new aquarium. I have 2x150w MH and 4 T5HO'S over the tank, 20x flow, along with a refugium. I don't currently have anything to trade other than some chaeto from the fuge, but will be glad to purchase some inexpensive newby corals. I will be driving to Nashville Monday and back down again on Wednesday so shipping can be avoided (if you're close to i-65). Thanks!

If you want to sell some of the cheato, I live in Birmingham and need some for my fuge. Let me know and I can meet you when you come through Birmingham.

no, i won't sell it to ya. It's going in the compost pile if you don't take it :) I cut out a good bit every few months. I think someone down here may want some, so i'll bring up a softball size chunk if that's enough. Would you mind trading a scoop of sand for it? I hear it's good to do that every once in awhile for diversity.

Sure, I got my sand from20 miles of shore from Dauphin Island in about 100' of water. I will be more than happy to trade some sand, just let me know when you are coming. I will pm you with my cell#.

i imagine the sand will last longer than the chaeto, so i will give it to you on the way up. I think i'll be passing through B'ham around lunch time. Now how did you lug up all that sand from the bottom.

I got while on a dive trip, tied a couple of buckets on a rope. Filled the buckets, put lid on and pulled them up. It worked great.

hey, i saw that someone local to you offered you some Chaetomorph. No worries if you're going to get that. The sand was just for some diversity. :)
