starting rotifers

I finally have about a 5 gallon bucket of phyto. This is where i lost everything last time. I had a good rotifer culture going and they just died. do anyone have any advice on raising rotifers .

I am no expert but I have a hard enough time trying to get them to flourish using rotifer diet. I couldn't imagine having to worry about growing enough phyto to feed the rots.

My advice (if affordable) would be to simply buy rotifer food instead of growing it. One less issue to worry about.
