Starting Vinegar dosing

Been doing alot of reading on the topic so today was the day it went into soluition. I'm doing the bolus dosing since I already drip kalc. It is a very low dose the first go around only 12ml of vinegar per gallon on a 5 gallon 30 day batch. It almost seems pointless at that dose but I would hate to have a big bacteria bloom. Anyone else here done this in their tank? What were the results?

I dose vinegar but I do it directly to the tank and on a daily basis. I've heard of people adding vinegar to their ATO but it was to make their kalk go farther rather than bacterial purposes. What are you intentions?

Looking to feed the bacteria. From what I understood the benefits were two fold, making the kalk soluition more saturable and also allowing the carbons to be available for the bacteria. The pH of the kalk inhibits the bacteria growth in soluition leaving the carbon available. So I am thinking I am just taking advantage of the kalk dosing system to dose the vinegar at the same time..
