Stary Blenny and a clam?

Would this be okay? or would the blenny try to clean the wrong part of the clam and injury it?

I've had 3 different clams in my tank and I've never once seen my starry blenny go after the clam. He has no interest.

they never seem to hurt the clam..my lawnmower blenny likes to sit on the clam for some reason so might watch out for that

Yea, mine likes to perch on the non-flesh part of my clam. It's funny to watch.

My 5" lawnmower strait up devoured my maxima in a 150g... I think I was just unlucky with mine. Most blennies (excluding Hypsoblennius exstochilus which love to nip at everything) should be with fine clams as long as their kept well fed.
