I have not add any buffer or anything else except for food and my stats are very consistant should worry about raiseing the alk?

Stats:

DKH 6
CALC 400
PH 8.2
NITRATE 0
PHOSPHATE 0

It is very steady and always DKH 6 is this too low?

I would raise it with the baking soda to the target number and then use the kalk for maintaining it. IMO.

I'd pick a balanced calcium and alkalinity additive system of some sort and use it going forward.

For a one time boost, baking soda is fine.
