What method is recommended to sterilize heaters , tank and pumps , if you choose to transfer fish every 3 days between tanks for ick? Also can you sterilize the amonia alert patch from Sea Chem ?

What amount of chlorox / beach to water do you use, do you let it soak for awhile ? Also do you then provide a quick rinse and let it air dry, have you attempted this method for the seachem alert patch ? Thanks

It does not take much chlorox. I just use about 1/5 but I am sure less would also work. I have never reused Seachem's alert patch and since I add fish very very rarely, I just use new ones. I always let everything soak for about a day then rinse with RO water and air dry.
