Sterilizing a QT tank

Hey everyone,
What is the method that you use to sterilize your QT tank after an outbreak?
I had 3 schooling bannerfish come down with uronema in the QT which wiped all 3 of them out (thank goodness for QT!)... After showing symptoms, they were dead within 3 days!
With that said, I have "torn down" the QT, removed 100% of the water and it has currently sat with 0 water in it (there are a few remaining puddles I guess) for the past 2 days. I'd rather not move the QT unless I need to. Anyways, I was thinking of running the tank with freshwater for a 3 days (plain tap water, WITHOUT a dechlorinator) to hopefully sterilize the tank. Will this work? Do I need to add vinegar and/or bleach?

Thanks!

I always use a mild bleach solution with a tap water rinse followed by RO/DI rinse. The second rinse is probably overkill but I am paranoid (they really may be out to get me).

i just take mine outside and hose it down real good. then let it sit out in the sun for a few days to dry. it is 90+ degrees here. i dont think anything will survive a few days of being completely air dried in those temps.

i run 29g QT tanks. so emptying it and carrying it outside hardly takes much effort.

Thanks, guys. I guess I'm just lazy as it is just a 20 long QT =D. It is upstairs, though, and I have a 5 week old child to take care of if that makes up for it, lol. Anyways, I'll probably run it with tap water with some bleach with the pump and HOB filter on (no media.. it's been thrown away) for a couple of days and then take it outside for a couple of more days and let it air dry. I'm also in the south (AL) and it is already hot here... (89 today).
