Does everyone know that Steve is the person missing in the boating accident on Claytor Lake?

man that just sends cold chills up my spine after reading todays paper, please keep Rose and Steve's family in your/our prayers

Steve is one of the hardest working and most down to earth people that I know. He was always going 100% at whatever he did. When ever we would talk it would always turn into a conversation about his kids and his wife Rose. I just don't want to believe this. I'll be praying for his entire family. Michael R

Well ... This is so sad ... I know that there are a number of the Reef Club members who were extremely close to Steve , and I am very sorry for your loss... I have only had a few interactions With Steve and I held him in high regards..He seemed to me to be a very smart , funny , and knowledgable man ... Our best wishes and warmest thoughts go out to his wife , family and friends...We are so sorry for all of thier loss.... This is just another affirmation of why we should never take people we care about for granted... Take a few minutes to tell the people you care about , that you care about them ...

Unfortunately, even with many divers from the State police park rangers sonar and under water cameras and now something called a videoray, a small underwater sub with a camera, no news yet. There are also other professional volunteers on site from surrounding areas. Hopefully there will be some sort of closure soon for the family, but for now as far as I know they are still waiting. Michael R

Even though there is a wave of silence it does not mean that we are not thinking about the ones we have lost. The loss is a great one for the family but I think that closure is what is needed so that they can mourn and move on. Michael has talked and spent some time with Steves family and It just breaks my heart when I talk to Michael and he tells me that there is still nothing. As Michael told me, lets remember Steve for the great guy that he was and not for this tragic accident.

Our family is praying for the Seymour's family. We are so sorry for their loss. Unbelievable!!!!!!! Tragic!!!

I just spoke with Steve's wife Rose and found out the news. I wish I had checked here first befor calling her. She knows that Steve has some good friends here in our club. Steve's family had been hoping for a Miracle even though it had been almost two weeks. I hope that they have some closure from the new information. I don't really know what to say other than, Steve was a great guy that I considered a friend. I'll be praying for his family as I know many of you will and already have. Michael R
