stickers on pvc? safe or toxic?

hey everyone the pvc i bought to make stands for my LR has sticker labels with the upc on them... i removed the stickers and of course it left that sticky material on the pvc... i then used adhesive remover on some of them and thoroughly washed them with water. my question is... is the sticky stuff non toxic? i know the adhesive remover is and thats why i washed those pvc pieces..

you should be all right as long as you rinsed them off well.

I used a knife and got all that stuff off and ran it under hot water first. It can't be good for the tank, only bad.
