A while back I posted that I was having trouble with my Dimmable T-5's going out. (happening almost from day 1)
At that time I suspected one of my 3 ballast was bad
I checked, re-checked and checked the wireing again.
I was told it was the bulbs, so I flipped around bulbs to the
other ballast (same type bulbs) they work fine on that one.
I went through the suggestions and through enough screwing
with it I finally got the ballast in question to stay lit though the
bulbs would never dim all the way like the other ones do on the
good ballast. (burns brighter at lowest setting)
I also have to run 25% clouds or they wont stay lit on that ballast.
Now the trouble is happening again.
It seems to me that is two are fine and one is not it is pretty clear that the one is bad.
I have to admit that I regret not just buying the Dimmable ballast
from my local lighting store like I was going to so I would not
have this hassle getting a replacement ballast.
What do I need to do to get it fixed once and for all.
(AKA Get a replacement ballast?)
Thank you
