Yeah, I'm going to be vanilla ice but I need the person to be able to identify the material and know what they're doing.

YOu might head down to Goodwill and see if there are any parts or pieces that you could use without having to make them. That might simplify the job.

My sewing is limited to muumuus and drapes, but I think you might have some luck if you visit a fabric store. The employees might be able to do it for you on the side or direct you to someone who can sew a costume.
