Stillwater, I need a hand

Well, I thought that I had everything planned out for this weekend during the meeting and a few things came up. I'm getting a 75g tank and a 42g Hex. I had a way to get the 75g home, but I was surprised with suddenly having to deal with the 42g Hex. Now I'm in a rut. I need to get these home this week/weekend. Does anyone have a truck that can help me out? Anyone with a truck going to the meeting? I'll be more than happy to pay for gas money to Stillwater and home. Let me know if anyone can lend a hand. Thanks in advance

Hey Travis,

I might be able to swing something for ya.

Would an SUV work with the seats folded down work for you?

Anything that can haul tanks. I think there MIGHT be a stand that goes with the 42g hex. The 75g is 48x18x22. Just slightly wider than a 55g. I'm not 100% sure on the Hex. The standard All Glass Aquarium 42g Hex is 25x22x23.5. Ah heck, average it to be 24x24x24 ;) If you think you can fit it, I say lets go for it!

So, are you looking to haul just the hex, or also the 75 gal?

If it is just the Hex, should fit no prob. Should be able to fix the stand too.

If it is both, I should be able to fit both, but if the stand is coming along, might get a little more tricky.

I know that it is the 75g tank and 42g Hex Tank, I'll double check about the possibility of a stand. If anything, we MIGHT be able to strap it to my trunk

Alright, let's run with me taking these tanks for ya.

Do you want to caravan down to the meeting on Sat.?

If you have an average size car you might be able to take the hex in your car. I transported my old hex by folding back the front seat and placing it there and putting the stand in my trunk. Then you would only need help with the 75.

I'll have the wife and kids with me, so there won't be any room. :(

Do you mind heading to my place first, and then we'll take 33 out to Edmond?

Also, what time you thinking about heading down?

ok, cancel that, Imma need a ride to the meeting, if someone has room, lyn wants the car sat night :)

I should have room. Really depends if my better half goes. On the assumption that she doesn't, I should have an extra spot easily.

Otherwise, I'll have room going down there no problem, but coming back could be a little cramped with 2 tanks and a stand in the SUV.

I can make it work, though.

Well, Nick, if I'm following you, we have room for one. Sonya even said last night she MIGHT stay back.

Hey, whichever is the easiest.

If Young could catch a ride with you down to my pad, then we can split up there.

I am pretty gumby on this one.

Let's pass the buck, and let Young decide! :D

FYI, it looks like I will be going, I will be heading down early and coming back late, but I would be more than happy to hall any of the tanks you need,

Should be no problem in the back of the Firrd!

Steve
