stinging corals

Can someone help me find a thread or a web link somewhere about which corals are aggressive to other corals? I've heard that some LPS and SPS can't live well in a tank together because even if they aren't touching, certain species can emit a toxin that kills other corals. I love my LPS and would like to put some SPS in the tank as well along with the softies I already have (not that many). I don't like Acroporas but many Monti's I like.

Advice and pointing me in the right direction would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

What you are talking about is called alleopathy (sp?). I know for sure that leathers are an offending species and many SPS will not tolerate them well. Whether you have success depends alot on flow in your tank and how heavily you run carbon. All the tanks that I have ever seen mixed run significant ammts of carbon to help remove the toxins. You may want to post in the LPS or SPS forum(s) to get more info.
