does anyone here keep any yellow spotted rays or cortez rays?

I had a Yellow Spot for awhile. Got him as a juvi (few days old), and he ate like a champ out of my hand, but one day he just stopped. :/

how large was the set up? i am looking at a 400 gallon or 600 gallon fiber glass tank for them.

He was in a 220, he was only about the size of a baseball

That size would be totally fine for one, granted it's not a 1' deep tank and really tall. :rolleye1:

600 gallons depending on the foot print would be good for more than one, 2-3 with a good filtration system and a large skimmer. I have had up to 8 in a 9' round pool/pond long term and have been very healthy.
