I come dosing carbon for some time and only joy, recently traded my GFO and put the amount specified by the manufacturer, which is greater than I used to use. two days later he began appearing this tissue loss

someone believes that this may have caused this loss of tissue?

thanks

Yes, using too much GFO when you have very low PO4 can cause this. Since your PO4 reading is 0 I'd advise to discontinue use of GFO and GAC also since your NO3 is also showing 0.

Although gfo is very effective at lowering phosphates, it is also very commonly associated with causing tissue recession on sps.
With such low p already, I also think you should remove it..

Yes, I removed the GFO as I realized this recession, I imagined what might have been.

My phosphate and nitrate are always cleared, but these days there appeared a small focus of cyan, and review my notebook, I noticed that did not change the GFO and GAC to two months and so I made the switch. the next day the cyan focus was gone, but after five days appeared that tissue reception.

Do you think I should remove the GAC too? I not know there was connection enter GAC and recession tecíduo

thanks

I have also read many people who have ulns say that when they added carbon, suddenly they had tissue loss.
You can never be sure that one caused the other, though..
I would probably remove the carbon as well..

I did it, I removed both and tissue recession is stopped momentarily. I'll walk for a few more days and maybe after a new phosphate test reset the media in smaller quantities.
Thank you friend, was very helpful your vision
