This is what Im thinking bout putting in my new display ... Im going to mainly focus on LPS and mushrooms ....

Ive have been going around and around for weeks on what kind of fish I wanted to stock the aquarium with ... Ive been conisdering a tank with almost entirely fairy wrasse ... after seeing DrPeaches 120 I got this funny feeling which required some time alone :inlove:

Here is what I was considering so leave some input

Clams
T. squamossa
T. derasa

Fairy and Leopard Wrasses Im trying to decide on
Cirrhilabrus rubrisquamis ( Red Velvet Wrasse )
Cirrhilabrus solorensis ( Solar Fairy Wrasse )
Cirrhilabrus scottorum ( Scott's Fairy Wrasse )
Cirrhilabrus lyukyuensis ( Yellow-Flanked Fairy Wrasse )
Macropharyngodon meleagris ( Leopard Wrasse )
Macropharyngodon bipartitus ( Splendid / Vermiculate Leopard Wrasse )

My sister is hung up on the orchid in the display at Kermits so I may end with with one of these two in the tank as well
Pseudochromis flavivertex ( Sunrise Dottyback )
Fridmani Pseudochromis ( Orchid Dottyback )

Fish I already have that are in a temporary tank that will be in the display
Wetmorella nigropinnata ( Yellow-Banded Possum Wrasse )
Ecsenius midas ( Midas Blenny )
Amblyeleotris randalli w/ Alpheus Bellulus ( Randall's Prawn Goby w/ Tiger Pistol Shrimp )

If you can squeeze one in , I'd look at a Mola Mola.
A juvenile one though? right?:hammer:

red sea eightline flasher a personal favorite!
Kinda pricey on the sites I saw that had it listed ... going that route I would just get Cirrhilabrus lineatus or Cirrhilabrus rhomboidalis simply for the price tag factor ... to say I have a $300 fish

A lot of the fish you have listed will most likely fight with each other in your size tank...also most of them are jumpers...combined with their aggression towards each other, I hope you've set up a safety net to catch all those fairies..I know of a few people on this forum that have scraped them off the floor..also mixing pseudochromis usually doesn't work unless the tank is big but those 2 you listed aren't the more aggressive species so you may have luck. The red sea fighter wrasse as its more commonly known will probably just add to the aggression of the tank and yeah they are expensive. My suggestion would be to sink you money in ONE really nice fairy and add other species that wont get bullied or fight much with it that way you don't have wrasse stuck to your halide. My .02

Im not out to get them all ... I just cant make up my mind which one of each I want to get ... Ill end up with 2 fairies and 1 type of leopard ... still not sure if Ill get a dotty at all ... and then the 3 at the bottom I already have

Scott's is the prettiest i think..but also the most expensive of those you've listed. But i can tell you a large Scott's is going to be aggressive as are any of those fairies those which you listed all get big and have a reputation for being aggressive towards conspieces, so keeping two of those listed in the same tank for any amount of time will most likely lead one being dominant and possibly keeping the other submissive to the point of it being unable to feed. So long story short it may prove expensive to house more than one is a smaller aquarium though who knows you may get away with it...anything is possible

Wetmorella nigropinnata ( Yellow-Banded Possum Wrasse ) 2.5"
Ecsenius midas ( Midas Blenny ) 5"

Cirrhilabrus rubrisquamis ( Red Velvet Wrasse ) 2.5"
Cirrhilabrus solorensis ( Solar Fairy Wrasse ) 4.25"
Cirrhilabrus scottorum ( Scott's Fairy Wrasse ) 4"
Cirrhilabrus lyukyuensis ( Yellow-Flanked Fairy Wrasse ) 4"
Macropharyngodon meleagris ( Leopard Wrasse ) 4.25"-5.5"
Macropharyngodon bipartitus ( Splendid / Vermiculate Leopard Wrasse ) 5"

You might want to try and visualize some of those fish at those sizes in your aquarium.

Let me help.

Its all good casue Im going to skip the LiveRock and LiveSand ...Im going to just add some happy meal toys in the tank for color and let the fish swim out in the open

My theory has always been to add whatever suts you!

Then when things get too aggressive,

just add a reall nice "spotted grouper"!!!

He will "clean things up" and then you can have a reeally good "grouper sandwich"

and it would be the most expensive grouper sandwich around.
Most anyone can say they have a 300.00 fish but how many can say they ate a $2000.00 grouper sandwich??
