So, my idea is to turn a 150 gallon stock Tank into an aquarium. Has anyone tried this and had success? My plan:
A 150 gallon, 75x31x25, poly fish safe material with a 55 gallon sump, skimz skimmer sm202, and a little giant pump probably rated at around 1000 gph will make up the basics of the tank
I may use some additional pumps, but I will probably use a splitter to spread the flow coming from the main pump
Most everything will be hard plumbed, PVC
Sand will most likely be fine as a cat shark will most likely find his way into the tank, bio load will be on the heavier side probably
If I am missing any details please tell me, I am only in the planning phase so any advice is helpful
