I need some ideas for my reef tank. its 165 gallon custom tank. Its 6', 22", 24"tall So I would like a nice comunity. I need ideas on supplies too! lighting, filtration! thanks guys!

What about this?

sargassum trigger
sohawl tang
yellow tang
purple tang
trio of anthias
1 marron clown
1 ocellaris clown
yellow watchmen goby
straberry pseduchromis
6 chromis
Dragon goby

And this is just a trown together list... Not all of it would go in the tank... Also I have a 50 gallon sump....

The sohal tang will get way too large and aggressive for that size tank, and clowns don't generally tolerate other clown species in the same tank, I'd guess the maroon will kill the occellaris at some point.

Also, alot of pseudochromis species can get very aggressive but I'm not familiar with what species a "strawberry pseudochromis" is.

The rest looks fine, I'd introduce the 2 zebrasoma species at the same time.

Oh yeah I forgot to update the list hahaWhat i want is 2 pink skunk clowns! and no on the sohal? Whats a cool bigger tang that swims a lot like a naso? Would that be to big? Whats a cool tang?

The pink skunk clowns are a much better choice than the mismatched pair.

Any of the bristletooth species would be a good choice, I like the yellow eye Kole tangs personally. Sohals, and all the naso species get almost as long as your tank is wide.

Also, I'm not familiar with sargassum triggers, so I can't speak to the safeness of that one.

What about this....

2 pink skunk clowns
1 yellow tang
1 purple tang
1 really cool colorful tang
1 strawberry phseduchromis
1 watchmen goby
Yellow head sleper goby
Couple clown gobies
Trio of anthias

The achilles would be a bad choice for your tank. The yellow and purple both stay small enough, but they may fight. If that happens be prepared to move one of them out of the tank. I probably wouldn't put 3 tangs in that size of a tank, I would stick to two smaller ones.
