stocking a 90

I have a 90 gallon tank that crashed about a month ago and lost all the fish however all of the coral is doing great. My parameters all have been very good ever since, I believe it was a case of velvet In a couple more weeks (unless its safe sooner :) ) I am going to start to add fish again and have a couple questions just to make sure everything is compatible.

As far as cleanup crew goes I have an electric blue crab, Halloween crab, 1 emerald crab and 5 snails. Thinking about getting 2-3 more emerald crabs and a couple fire shrimp. Thoughts? What about peppermint shrimp to battle aptasia? Are they aggressive? I was thinking of getting 3-4?

As far as fish goes, I would love to have a harlequin tusk, yellow tang, 2 purple firefish, and maybe a 6 line wrasse just to keep any worm population down. Is the 6 line going to be too aggressive? Will the tusk bother any of the other fish or coral? Any specific order I should put the fish in at?

Thanks and I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Everyone regrets their six line. Go with a yellow coris wrasse.

Skip the tusk, that's a big fish. And really the yt should have a six foot tank.

A 90 is really just a big small tank and you will have a more interesting fish population if you stock with lots of small fish rather than a couple big guys.

Not all of these. Just suggestions.

Royal gramma
Firefish
Clowns
Shrimp goby
Bangaii cardinal
Flasher wrasses
Possum wrasse
Leopard wrasse
Sunburst anthias
Blenny
Cleaner goby

Good luck.

For aptasia, my matted filefish is amazing. No biological control is 100% reliable. Peppermint shrimp are pretty docile but steal food from corals if you spot feed. They are hit or miss with aptasia, especially if the tank is well fed and they're not hungry.

I'm about to set back up my 90 primarily as a FOWLR. Here is my fish plan (just for kicks). These I already have:

Bipartitus Leopard Wrasse (2)
Black Leopard Wrasse
Potters Leopard Wrasse
Carpenter's Wrasse
Possum Wrasse
Chevron Tang

These I'm thinking about:

LemonPeel Dwarf Angel
Eibli Dwarf Angel
Venustus Dwarf Angel (if I can find a healthy one)
Choati Leopard Wrasse (again, if I can find healthy one)

Although peppermint shrimp may steal food from corals, I have found them to be much less destructive to corals than the matted filefish. In more cases than not I have found the matted filefish to start picking on corals and clams once the aiptasia is gone.

I, too would recomend against the sixline due to the aforementioned aggression.
