its a 110 gal--not a 90

The hippo will eventually outgrow both the 110 and the 125--that one is about 2 and a half years old so I figure I have about 2 more years and I will have to upgrade to a 220 gal to house the hippo and the sailfin

good to hear from you also--did you win the hair algae battle?

Currently in the process of turning the tide in my favor. I picked up a dual reactor (GFO/Carbon) and it seems to be producing amazing results. All of the algae is turning brown/white/stringy/disintegrating.

Just in time for some corals being shipped :)

Is the Xantharus cream angel reef safe?

Sure you weren't holding a whale for your friend?

It sure seemed like it, but that is just how big they get. It was easily over 12 inches.

Hmm all good thoughts to consider... I like the powder blue. Great combination of blue and yellow.

I hear they stress easy though and also get large. Thoughts on the powder blue in a 125?

IMO, a Naso would be fine in your tank, as would many others.

Check out LiveAquaria as a general reference to sizes of fish. When you click on them, it gives you info on each species on the right corner.

A gem tang is known to be one of the most expensive fish in the hobby.

Definatly check out the site for references. Good Luck!

Yea that site is handy to check on. I never came across those fish though. Quite expensive!

How about this fellow.

"Reef Safe" Blue Star Leopard Wrasse

Are all wrasses pod eaters? I seem to come across that a lot. I wouldn't want other fish to compete with my mandarin.

Should of built a 1,250 gallon instead :D
