20"x20"x18" ~30 gal cube (35-45 pounds Live Rock / 2-2.5" sand bed / Mixed reef)

I've been compiling a list of certain fish/inverts I would like in my tank once it's cycled and such, however I'd like some advice from you all first.

*note - I am just listing off fish/inverts I LIKE.. This is a pick/choose type list not a "i'm going to put these all in my tank" list.. So no worries I am not an overstocking type. This is one of the main reasons I'm posting this to get an idea of how much I can put in my tank :)

Also of note this tank will be HEAVILY skimmed (Deltec MCE600)

Fish
===
clown(s) (pair??)
royal gramma basslet
firefish
blue/green chromis
bicolor blenny
watchman goby

I realize all these fish may not be compatible with each other, again just a list to pick/choose from..

If you have any recommendations outside of my list please list them as I am not dead set on anything in particular :)

Inverts (CC) denotes cleanup crew inverts
================================
Pistol Shrimp (pair with watchman)
Anemone (for clown(s))
Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp
Sexy Shrimp
Peppermint Shrimp

(CC) Serpent Star
(CC) Tiger Tail Cucumber
(CC) Astrea Snails
(CC) Cerith Snails
(CC) Nerite Snails
(CC) Nassarius Snails
(CC) Trochus Snails
(CC) Mini Blue Leg Hermits

The cleanup crew list is pretty long and I do not plan on having them ALL.. I'm not sure which ones would be best and how many of each to get (especially the snails/hermits).

I plan on feeding Cyclopeeze, DT Phyto/Marinesnow and using Selcon as additive..

Thanks so much for any advice!

Would this be too much with heavy skimming?

Please don't flame me if this sounds like too much as I'm still learning what constitutes as "too much". Also I'm unsure how inverts fit into the "too much" equation as they don't contribute as much bio-load as fish but still take up space within the aquarium.. Thanks

Fish:

False Percula Clown (I will drop this if too many fish)
Firefish
Bicolor Blenny
Watchman Goby

Inverts:

Pistol Shrimp (pair w/ watchman goby)
Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp
Peppermint Shrimp

Cleanup Crew:

1 Serpent Star
1-2 Tiger Tail Cucumber
8 Astrea Snails
2 Astrea Star Snails
20 Cerith Snails
5 Nerite Tesselatta Snails
5 Nassarius Vibex Snails
15 Micro Blue Leg Hermits

Cleanup crew seems large I know but I plan on feeding heavily as I want all my inhabitants to be fat and happy!

Thanks for reading and letting me know how this stocking list looks!
:D

it does seem like alot but heavy feeding usually means hair algae trouble and poor water conditions, usually 1 snall per gallon is ok, but i would start with 20 and if they cant keep up with the algae add some more, for instance i have 30 - 40 snails and 5 hermits in my 90 and they keep it very clean, but i have seen other 90s with 90 snails and 90 hermits and every week they were pulling out dead snails and hermits due to starvation

Okay cool.. So start with less cleanup crew.. How does my fish/invert stocking list look? Does it look like too much? Should I drop the clown and just go with 3 fish and the 3 shrimp?

Thanks!

Alright cool, how do you recommend adding things? One thing at a time? What's a good amount of time to space in between adding?

Could I say, add one fish and one shrimp at the same time? Or is it important only to add one thing at a time?

Or is it mainly just important to add one fish at a time but it's okay to add multiple inverts at once because they're a lower bio-load?

Thanks

fish shrimp should be fine if not added all at once
