Hello. I am new to keeping saltwater fish. I have a 125 gallon tank with a 30 gallon sump. I have a good protein skimmer and a T-2 aquamax sulfur denitrater. I have come up with a list of fish that I believe will be a good fit for my new tank. Any opinions on my stocking list are welcome.
-1 coral beauty angel
-1 yellow tang
-1 sailfin tang
-2 oc clowns
-1 one spot fox face
-1 zebra eel
-1 orchid dotty back
-1 diamond goby
-1 royal gramma
-1 six line wrasse/ or some species of wrasse suggestions are welcome
Thank you!
Please tell me if there are any problems
Also, suggestions on when the eel should be introduced.

I would be careful with the yellow tang and the fox face. Since there similar in color they may not get along and I've seen what a tang can do to a fox face and it's not a pretty sight. Also the orchid and the royal gramma. They have the same body shape so they may not get along. Although in a tank that size it might not matter as much with those two. You could add them at the same time so they don't have a chance to get territorial if you know what I mean. All the other things look good. I can't comment on the eel because I've never done any research on zebra eels although they are good looking. I would probably add it last so all the other fish have there spots in the tank.

I also have a 125 with a few of the fish your looking to stock IMG_2065.jpg

I would take the sailfin tang off the list, it will get too big. I'd also be very cautious about adding an eel with small fish.

Nice stocking list, perhaps you should consider a mellow Tang such as the Scopas Tang, which is a different color and shape than a Foxface.
marleesan is correct - I wouldn't put a Salifin in any tank under 180 gallons. Get a nice pair of Anthias instead.
A word of caution about the eel - it will hunt down its tank mates if you don't keep it well fed. You should probably add it LAST, that is, if you decide to get one. And remember - they are escape artists.
Keep your tank tightly sealed!

-1 coral beauty angel Yes, but it may nip at corals
-1 yellow tang Yes, must be fed lots of nori
-1 sailfin tang No, requires larger tank and may fight with yellow tang
-2 oc clowns Yes
-1 one spot fox face Yes, make sure you feed lots of nori
-1 zebra eel Not a great choice. May eat fish and will knock over corals. Make sure you have a tight fitting lid if you do go this route
-1 orchid dotty back Yes, may be aggressive
-1 diamond goby Yes, but must be fed at least 2-3 times a day
-1 royal gramma Yes, but may fight with the dottyback
-1 six line wrasse I wouln't do any of the Pseudocheilinus as they are very aggressive. I prefer Cirrhilabrus.

IMO, very easy. They are jumpers so be aware about that. If you decide to get some, I would make sure they are the 1st or 2nd batch of fish in the tank. They are peaceful.

+1
Introduce them first as they are a fairly shy fish. I would also aim for some of the larger types.

-2 oc clowns yes
-1 one spot fox face yes, but needs lots of nori
-1 zebra eel yes but can be aggresive

Thank you! not very hardy in my experience, maybe try a fairy wrasse

Also, suggestions on when the eel should be introduced. eel should be the last thing put in the tank if you get him

all good advice.
in that size tank the shouldn't matter if you add the clownfish first and flashers second.

tank should be big enough for the both of them, plus oct clownfish is one of the more peaceful clown imo

if you have your heart set on an eel, go for a snowflake instead of a zebra moray. zebras get big, snowflakes stay under 2 feet and generally dont go for fish. I have had one in my 180 for a while now

How does this order sound?
Clowns
Flasher
Royal gramma and dotty back
Fox face
Eel
Angel
Tangs

Sounds good. I don't know too much about eels. Never kept one. But rest is ok. I also add my fish at night. Helps reduce the stress of introduction

When you say Tangs with a S, what are they? The Yellow tang and what? Much of the advice was to avoid the Sailfin as it will fight with the Yellow and it will get too large for that tank. I would into one of the Mimic tangs.
