I've got a 30 gallon cube which finished cycling a few weeks ago. I have a pair of ocellaris clowns in there, looking to add one or two small fish. I watn something active and with lots of personality. Any suggestions?

Flame or longnose hawkfish, as well as Ecsenius blennies have a ton of personality, though not the most active. Zebra bar gobies are quite active.

Clown gobies don't move terribly much, but they have personality, and they taste terrible so they're bully-proof.

flame hawk. will eat shrimps tho.

How about a Bicolor blenny? And I think I could maybe get away with a little basslet of some type or maybe a neon goby. That's brings me up to 4 fish or about 12 1/2- 14 inches worth of fish. Is that over stocking?

Fire fish and other small darts are great for this scenario, but when your clowns get bigger and more aggressive (and they definitely will in a 30gal), then you may see them harassing a fire fish. Try a signal goby or a blenny, as suggested above.
