So I'm trying to get an idea for stocking my 90G tank. I'm not going to run out and buy everything at once. I just want to figure out what works well together.

I already have:

2 Clowns
1 Pink Spot Goby
1 Cleaner Shrimp

These are what I'm planning to add:

1 Blue Hippo Tang (Wife's favorite fish)
1 Yellow Tang
1 Mandarin Goby (few years away)
1-2 Cleaner Shrimp
2-3 Peppermint Shrimp (only if I get aptasia)

Now after this I'm kinda stumped about what to add. I've been thinking a Purple Firefish, Yellow Watchman Goby, some anthias and maybe some cardinels. Anyone have any thoughts on other fish? Any wrasses?

Skip the anthias and the Blue Hippo. Anthias need to be fed a lot, and the easier to keep species can be a bit rough in the aggression department.

Firefish would work fine if you skip the anthias, but don't bother unless you are putting a top on the tank.

Same with wrasse, don't bother without a screen top. Stick to the Fairy/Flasher types if you want to keep multiples. Genus Pseudocheilinus (sixline, mystery, etc.) 95% of the time can't be housed with other wrasse in a tank your size.

You can look into Chalk Bass also. They will shoal in the home aquarium, and are much easier and less aggressive feeders than your typical anthias. Much hardier too, albeit not quite as colorful.

I have a 90 as well. This is what I have:

2 B/W Perculas
2 Tobacco Basslets
5 Chromis
1 Long Nose Hawkfish

I plan to add 2 Pyramid Butterfly fish.

How about a kole tang, copperband butterfly, and a flame angel? Thats how I plan to stock my 90 to go with my pair of clowns and 3 green chromis. Maybe a midas blenny if i have room!

I was thinking about this also:
I already have pr maroon clowns, Royal gramma & pair firefish

but here is a cut-n-paste shopping cart from live aquaria...I was sorta playing around with a wish list and getting a idea of pricing and when/how to stock...a timeline thing of sorts (trying to minamize shipping cost yet not overload/shock the tank)

SW - Bicolor Blenny (Indonesia) - Small

SW - Kaudern's Cardinal (Indonesia) 3ea

SW - Carpenter's Flasher Wrasse (Indonesia) - Juvenile ...I need to reseach this fish

SW - Purple Dottyback (Indonesia)

SW - Leopard Wrasse, Female (Tonga/Fiji) - Medium (perhaps in lieu of the flasher)

SW - McCosker's Flasher Wrasse, Male (Maldives) - Small (in lieu of)

SW - Chalk Bass - Small ...maybe?

SW - Hi Fin Red Banded Goby - Small

I'd say this is a load for a 90G ...but,,,
