Well looking to add the last couple of fish to my 150G cube (mixture of SPS, LPS & softies) and looking for advice. I currently have the following:

Male & Female Bellus Angels (the male currently dominates this tank)
Mated pair of false percs
5 Threadfin cardinals
5 Glass redspot cardinals
1 Red mandarin

Looking to add (two fish) a combination of the following:

Yellow Tang or Purple Tang
Midas Blenny or Lawnmower Blenny
Flame Angel (I know it's a throw of the dice in a reef tank)

That is an elegant and restrained stock list you currently have. Nicely done.

I think all tangs need more swimming length.

Midas blenny would be cool. I think you need a couple wrasses. Maybe yellow coris instead of the mb. And another colorful species. And pair your dragonet.

Good luck.

Thanks SA, you are probably right about the tangs but I thought I would throw it out there. As far as wrasses go, the female bellus seems to have a thing for bullying them not sure why. I have had tried both a red head solon and lubbock's with no success, they just hide all day because she chases them. So I was looking for something a little more bold that could hold it's own.

Another pair of something would be great just not sure what that's going to be...

Further, even though I like your open aquascape, a little more rock would create more small territories and swim throughs for other fish.

You may be right about the rock work but it was a combination of giving the larger Bellus a place to roam and for the SPS frags to have room to grow out. There is quite a bit of rock in there but the pic doesn't really depict the depth of the tank/rock very well.

I like 4 & 6 line wrasses but they may take out the red mandarin due to competing for the same food (pods). I had this happen years ago although it was only a 60 gallon tank.

Nice restrained stock. How about a Mimic Tang, Acanthurus chronixis or tristis, to add to the Indonesian theme and have something a little different? Wrasses might be good too, not sure which ones though.
