Stocking Limits for Large Tanks

Big tanks are the way to go, I wouldn't consider a smaller as you have to worry about what fish you can keep, I've also noticed sps does well in large tanks, it was told to me one time by a very experienced reefer that they love the pressure they get in a larger tank.

Still don't buy it. Very little food goes to waste in my tank. Anything the fish don't eat (not all that much though) is quickly CUC'd. Still gets the opportunity to generate body mass. If by REAL predators you mean things like sharks, then no, none of those chez moi. Having a nice tank does not also mean the lack of a hairbrained idea or two ..... I should know.

Hey I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time LOL! I know what you mean, we have some nassarius snails that just beg for some scraps. No scraps left behind . The rep was talking about large eels and stuff predator wise. I have never had a aggressive/predator tank so I wouldn't really know much about them. Does one still run a CUC in a predator tank?

OP, IMHO with 440 gallons total volume and a skimmer rated for 1000g, plus other means of filtration going, I don't see any issue adding those fish listed plus even some more fish down the road. As always take it slow and reef on :spin3:
