Just seeing what people think of my current stocking list and had a few questions about wrasses and anthias.
First off my current stocking list for my 55 is:
2 Picasso Percs
1 Yellow Watchman Goby
1 Carpenter's Wrasse
I was looking at potentially getting another wrasse and from what my LFS, that I work part time at cleaning their tanks, told me is that as long as you get wrasses from different famlies they should get along. i.e I could get a female carpenters wrasse cause their the same species but couldnt get another Paracheilinus family wrasse as they would fight. Is this true? If so I was looking at either a fairy wrasse or a mystery wrasse.
I was also looking at maybe getting a trio of small anthias like carberryi (Nemanthias carberryi), coral sea long-fin (Pseudanthias cf ventralis 2) or hawaiian long-fin anthias (Pseudanthias hawaiiensis). My friend has a pair of carberryi's in his 30g solano and has them trained to eat only once a day. I was still planning on feeding multiple times a day, but has anyone else had similar progress like that? Or any experiance with any of those specias of anthia.
Any help would be great or different suggestions for reef safe, friendly fish.
