Stocking list suggestions

Currently tank has 1 snowflake close would like to have another, but unsure what else to add as far as fish.

Have 3 zoa frags/hammer frag/3 crabs (1 blue leg, 2 regular), couple snails.

tank is a LED BC 32...

Thanks in advance for suggestions...

You'll have to be careful when adding a second clown (I'm assuming "close" was a typo). They're usually best added in pairs right away. Your best bet would be to add a smaller clown so that there's no fight for dominance, although there's still no guarantee that they will pair or tolerate each other.

Other fish: firefish (if the tank is covered), smaller blennies like the tail spot, a cardinal, small gobies, etc...

Lol yes snowflake clown, and thanks. I know I should have gotten 2 clowns at once, but with them being the first marine fish, I didn't want to kill 2 if I messed something up... so if/when I get another clown I'll make sure he's smaller, in hopes they get along

Maybe use one of those breeder boxes and hang it off the tank with the new clown. Let them get used to each other from "different quarters" (despite them being in the same tank). They might interact better when you finally mix them.

I will try that after quarantine is done... thanks for the idea.

Thoughts on an Orchid Dottyback?

I thought my Orchid Dottyback was a model citizen until I introduced a Helfrichi Firefish after it and it was constantly chasing it for the first couple days. Now the Firefish stays in hiding except at feeding.

The Orchid never bothers the Tail-spot Blenny in the tank before it. It's a great fish and very peaceful for a Dottyback, but I would add it after all the smaller, more timid fish.
