I have a 240g 8x2x2. I currently have these fish in it.
Powder Blue Tang 5"
Sailfin Desjardini Tang 5"
Blonde Naso Tang 5"
Clown Tang 4"
Yellow Tang 4"
Maroon Clown 4"
Spotted Mandarin
Green Mandarin
Green Brittle Starfish
Lawnmower Blenny
Sally Lightfoot Crab

I would like to get a Emperor Angel and either a Queen or Majestic Angel. What do you guys and gals think?

To be honest you are going to run into aggression issues with the Queen angel and all the tangs not to mention the emperor angel as well as the clown tang are all aggressive

In general your tank is to small for that many fast swimming fish and you should cut some of them out probably limit to the Majestic Angel and like 2~3 tangs maybe 4...

Lawnmower blennies have terrible surival rates

Hope this helps

I've had all of my tangs for about a year now and the blenny for 3 months with no aggression problems.

Yes I meant the clown tang I typed the wrong fish really sorry about that I didnt reread the post before I made it and I was in a hurry....

Sean A. honestly do whatever you want but I am telling you.....that you will have problems and rehoming large tangs ethically is usually very difficult

Do you have a bigger tank planned?

I had six angels in my 250 and I did not have any aggression issues until my Passer decided he owned the entire tank. I'm down to four angels, the passer and french went to my buddy with a much bigger system.

If you MUST have two of the three angels listed, I would do the Emp and Maj. Make sure they go in at the same time. However, I would only get one if you really want an angel.

The only time there is aggression is when they end up right next to each other. Most of the time they never see each other. I'll have to take some Pics of the tank probably tomorrow.

I had great luck with my emperor & queen in a 8ft 240g, I sold that tank & downgraded to a 260g (5ft) then presently a 210g (6ft) & there was a bit more agression with the shorter tanks. Reson for downgrading was I moved & then redid my house so the fish were held elsewhere in temporarily tanks until my 10ft tank is complete.

Anyways, I think the key is LOTS of hiding places so they all have plenty of room to get away & have their own little place. If you do not have enough rockwork to allow them to have their own place there will be fighting. I would not suggest putting them in anything smaller then a 8ft 240g.
