Stocking my 72 bow

Hey all,

Tank has been up for 2 months now. Think I'm ready for some fish. This is my proposed (in order of introduction)

2 false perculas
Starry Blenny (maybe an orange spotted instead)
Bangaii Cardinal
Purple Tang

here's where I run out of ideas. I was looking at 3 Chromis, but keep reading about them killing each other. Other suggestions? I'm keeping mostly Zoas and LPS, but a SPS or two might find its way in. I have snails, hermits and 2 pepermint shrimp.

Thanks in advance. This is my first SW tank so I was steering away from higher maintenance fish like anthias and it's not covered so no wrasses.

It is looking good except the Starry Blenny, you might be disappointed with him. I would suggest a shrimp goby with a pistol shrimp combo in his place.

hey ive got 3 chromis in my 46 gallon and they've all been fine since ive gotten them...getting bigger though. but they never fight with each other and always swim in their little school...thinking about buying 2 or 3 more this weekend. i have a lawnmower blenny whose always chillin on my magnet, i think he likes picking the algae off it.

Kiel,

Why dissapointed? I mean I'm not expecting him to go to law school or anything. =D
ROFL

Coral Beautys are real nice, and they stay pretty small. Mine was shy at first, but now he is all over the tank. IMO they are one of the best dwarf angels.

Black Cap Basslets are really nice looking fish too, but can be a bit territorial. In a 72g that shouldnt be too much of a problem.

Just make sure you quarantine!!!!! It is very important. Even with the first fish.

(We unfortunately learned the hard way, and have been battling ich ever since.)

Good Luck!

Hey MJ, the blenny I had had a complex issue with himself. He spent most of his days trying to figure out how to attack his reflection against the glass. This resulted in sand kicking up all over my rocks. It got to a point where he stirred up enough sand to see glass on the bottom of the tank (I had 1" sandbed). After that I removed him.
