I have a 40g breeder set up with a YWG and a bangaii cardinalfish. I would like add either a pair of royal gramma or a trio of fang blennies as my next fish. Which type of fish should I add next? The fish will be QTed.

So you are definitely adding the pair of RG and the trio of fangs? In that case, id add the fangs first. RG can get territorial. But if it were me, id just add one of each, and then I could add another different fish or two, since you don't have very many slots in a 40b. I wouldn't want 5 slots to be only 2 kinds of fish. But that's me. I like variety.

Yes, I would like to add both groups of fish. I don't mind the have multiple fish of the same species; I think the interactions between individuals of the same species are interesting.
