Stocking suggestions, please

I have my 240g reef set up failrly set, but it is lightly stocked. Currently I have 1 Powder Brown Tang, 1 Yellow Tang, 1 Royal Gramma, 1 Coral Beauty, 1 Flame Angel, 2 (a breeding pair) Diamond Gobies, 1 Rainfordi Goby, 1 Ocelaris Clown.

The fish are fine, but most tend to be low to mid water column swimmers. What I am looking to add are some high column swimmers and/or some colors that are lacking, i.e, blue and green.

I was considering Anthias, but I tend to feed only twice daily, and they seem to require more frequency. Chromis seem obvious, but well, obvious.

Thoughts?

My lyretail anthias are fed twice a day and are happy. I feed fairly heavily because I overskim, but I think 2 feedings are sufficient for them. They are great fish.

How about a pair of bellus angels? A hippo tang is always an option.

I would also look into some of the fairy and flasher wrasses, some of those have nice blues as well.

I would also look into wrasses. I would recommend you put some Large Angelfish like the Emperor or Queen in there along with an anemone higher up in the tank for the clownfish. Depending on your budget, you could put some simply stunning wrasses in there like the Labouti, Lineatus, or Flame wrasses. I would also consider adding a hippo tang and a harlequin tusk.

1 - Thanks for that info on your Anthias, I may look at them again.

2 - Bellus, I''ll have to look at them again, I can't quite remember them.

3 -I love the Queen Angel, but I am worried about one ripping up my corals.

As far as a Hippo Tang, I was reluctant due to concerns about interactions with the two resident tangs, and just plain wanting species variety.

Anthias do not require as frequent feeding as alot of people think. (The finicky specimens yes, but if you choose hardier ones you should be fine). I have dispar, squamipinis, cooperi and hyposolema. I only feed twice a day and sometimes it is only once if I am busy with work.

Tangs are an obvious choice with fast movements but also some reef safe wrasse are an option too.
