I have a 55 gallon aquarium, that currently houses a pair of banggai cardinalfish, a pair of ocellaris(? could be percula?) clownfish, and a pair of barbershop pole gobies (S. nematodes). Now, the gobies aren't very outgoing, usually peeking out of a hole in the rock, and only coming out to eat. Are they supposed to act this way? I wasn't expecting outgoing at all, but...a sign that they're alive every once in a while would be vastly appreciated. I usually only see their heads in the shadow of the rock they've claimed home, but will they ever be less shy? I barely even see them during feeding time as well, I don't even think I've seen the entire body of one since introducing them to my tank! Is there any way to get them to be less shy? The banggai's were only introduced 3 weeks ago, with the clownfish being added yesterday. Before that, there was a pair of kupang damselfish that I removed. The gobies were added around thanksgiving.
