Stop... Don't throw away that MH bulb

Looking for some help. I'm looking for a 175 watt mogul base metal halide bulb that has exceeded it's life expectancy. I am looking for a low/no cost option to test out a DIY ballast that I am putting together. The bulb only needs to fire for a couple of hours so I can verify the setup and can return the bulb if you wish.
