How do I stop or minimize the population of the hair worms?

I now have over 30 worms in a 29gl tank. All I see in the tank is these worms. I understand that they are good to the tank, but Im sure nothing is good if is too much...

do they have predators?

thanks,

-b

Too many worms is often a sign of too much food. Since they're deposit feeders the availability of food determines how many can live in a tank. Lots of other animals will prey on worms. You might try some of the larger hermits to see if they help.

I have ONE that I know of and its the ugliest BOOOGER Ive ever seen. I caught it, stared at it---- then returned it to the tank because I felt bad lol

Just leave them in there, they arent hurting anything.:p

There are a ton in my macro algae tank. I like them a lot just because they eat extra food. They are really cool looking. They also hold onto things that you don't want to move, such as a new macro algae, until they have time to attach.
