Stores In Maryland

Hey guys just curious if anyone has any suggestions for any stores in maryland? Particualry if they have a lot of dry goods.

Aquarium Center in Randallstown has good selection & prices on dry goods. A few minutes off the beltway. I've also gotten very healthy fish there in the past, but I haven't been there in about a year, and have no experience with their inverts.
There's also Exotic Aquatics, a little further north than Aq. Center, also off the beltway. Highly recommended for livestock, but I can't really speak to their dry goods selection, honestly can't remember. Also, Dr. Mac for frags of course.

There is also a brand new store that just opened in Bel Aire MD called Marine Dreams not alot of dry goods yet but worth the stop. I like Exotic Aquatics myself

Alemab3 how is the place in BelAire on live stock? Is it comparable to exotic aquatics in live stock? or maybe comparable to the hidden reef?

well they have not had their grand openning yet but they are going to be comparable to exotic aquatics. The owner is an x employee of exotic aquatics. I would wait until they have their official grand openning before taking the drive.

Yeah I think Marine Dreams will be a cool place. Thanks for the input everyone btw. I ask because i'm a rep for marineland, tetra, jungle labs, aquarium systems, and perfecto and am always looking for new stores to visit. I've been to Marine Dreams twice, including today. I dropped off some sample products for him today to test out. The owner is pretty cool and he definitely was inspired greatly by his time in exotic aquatics (fish room and display shelves are very similar.) I wish him the best of luck.

Its not too hard to find its basically on route 22. I guess if you are coming from the east you'll pass an enroy gas station on your right. Its a small shopping center on the left side if coming from the east. Its near a community college and schucks road. Hope this helps. They haven't had their grand opening yet but they are open for business.

I drove by there (Marine Dreams) In April while they were still putting in there tanks and plumbing.
I looked inside since no one had shown up yet (very early in the morning) and the set-up alone was enough to make me want to go back to see the end results.
Everything I saw was top notch for a local store.

Seems fishy from a biz perspective to open a store so close to exotic...

Bel Air is a pretty large area and both are located in a suburbia type setting. Should be plenty of customers for both businesses to easily survive.

I guess I'm just used to stores being a minimum of 40 miles apart - but it doesn't have to be that way! LOL!
