Storing salt water mix

Hello,

I've mixed my saltwater for my water change but something come up so I've not got time to do until tomorrow. Its mixed and heated can I turn heater and mixing pump off or have I got to leave the running until I use it?

I haven't got a lid to seal it air tight.

What should I do?

Leave the pump and heater on if the temp will not be near the tank temp. Definitely leave the pump on.

If it were me, i'd leave the pump on....depending on the weather, I might leave the heater on too although at a lower temp.....

Most saltwater mixes can be stored for a LONG time...There is no need to continue to run a pump or heater after mixing unless you need to keep the water at a certain temp..
