just now I saw a dan rather reporting on HD Net...
it showed reefs on the east coast and into the keys.
ugly damage, one kind of cyano bloom that they think may be linked to tumors on turtules and dolphins.
it has toxins that promote tumor growth....
Yuck
one person, I think from the epa was saying "we need more science" but I do not need more study to know that N2 or N3 levels at 100 times normal has got to be bad and needs to stop!
they showded something that I bet most folks would freak out if they saw....
a partly treated *LEGAL* sewage pipe dumping into the atlantic off shore from a public beach where folks swim!
ok most of the time it's going out to the atlantic... but some times its going to wash the other way.... Yuck!
but the real problem is that the N2/N3 level of that stuff is like 1000 times normal....
we reefkeepers know how that will kill coral and grow cyano and macro alge.
