Some of my zoa's have not been opening lately. After closer inspection I can see small nudi's on them. The best way I can describe them is they look like a very small slug with fire on it. They are metallic orange in color (the flame part).

NICE.
Anyways, it sounds like you might have zoanthid eating nudis. Try fresh water dips, iodine dips and manual removal.

dip them after the lights go out, after they have closed. It wont hurt them and be sure to look for egg sacs-they look like this ,@, but white. good luck!

I would jump on them hard everyday. Don't allow it to get out of hand. They can and will reck havoc.

yes, freshwater with a bit of iodine. the egg sacks are hard to get off, i found qtips to work well at getting them off.

you forgot the most important descriptions...OLD and FAT. LoL

Nudis = Nudabranch, a creature that has specific diets. Here they are talking about a Zoa eating "nudi". I had a big struggle with monti eating nudis that I think(knock on wood) I have beaten. But while I had them, all my monti corals were killed. :(

HAHAHAHAHAHA.
You don't kow how much I laughed. Nice!!
I always run my new zoas under hot tap water for a little while before they go in my tank. Needless to say, I have never had a problem with them. good luck.
