I have a RBTA that that has split in to two and both look normal.
Now 2 of these just appeared in the tank and they don’t look like the ones I have, these have white spots.
Can there be something wrong with them or it could they be hitcher's?
I've seen RBTA with white spots on them at LFS and online all the time...was wondering the same thing...if that's just normal coloration or if it's sick or something...
definitely normal coloration. its referred to as "marbling" or like a marble. i really like the bubble tips that have these interesting flecks in their tissues.
Two years ago a friend gave me a small anemone the next day it disappeared (I never got to see it open) I wonder if this is a split from that and not from de normal anemone?
what do you mean "dissapeared"? my new rbta just crawl behind the rock work i just wondering whats wrong with him. i got him a week ago he was happy stayed where i set him in the first time, i feed him 2-3 times already...he was all bubbled up...and now he is kind of deflated decided to move on.
I put it in the tank and never saw it again.
Don’t know if it died or hid it self behind a rock.
So if this is not a mutation or disease, one possibility is the spotted anemones that are showing up now are from that one that I never saw agin.
well guys! it looks like my first rbta just splitted! he is still back behind the rock work and if i see it right i think i got 2 or 3 smaller rbta's. the only thing is weird to me, just put it in my tank a week ago...are they can split this quick? i mean in hours? and when should i expect to see them again? back there not much of the lights so i think they should get back soon to a better spot. and i also add a black perc. day after i got the nem. but the perc stayed away not interested at all. let me know what ya'll think!
