Strange request - Free stuff w/slight catch

Hello everyone!

I've determined that I've got to get a few priorities straight and complete some unfinished projects around the house including things like building cabinetry in the family room, new carpet, and finishing up a bathroom thats half built. In doing this, all my aquarium stuff is simply in the way. Here is a list fo a few things I have:

-58gal oceanic with stand, sump, coralife super skimmer 220 and 1x250w MH
-2 clowns, rbta, regal tang, serpent star, royal gramma, and other small creatures
-40 gallon frag tank with stand, sump, cpr skimmer, and 2x96w jbj compact pc lighting
-about 15+ different kinds of zoanthids, some sps, micromusa, blastos, garf bonsai... and some other random stuff.
-12 gallon nano cube dx
-2 mag pumps used for the returns from the sumps

All this stuff has water in it and is up and running except for the nano cube.

What am I wanting to do? I want to find a single person that is in the immediate Murfreesboro area, serious about the hobby, planning on staying in the hobby for years to come, trustworthy, and someone I can befriend that I can GIVE ALL( or most) of this stuff to. There is no telling how much money I've put into all this equipment and corals that I have, yet I do not want to sell any of it!

Whats the catch? After I finish all my projects and am ready to hop back in the hobby, I would like to get some stuff back. I don't think that it would be no sooner than a year. Here is what I'd like back:

-58gal tank that I can use for a sump
-frags of all corals I had and any that you might have to offer in addition. Also, an RBTA baby if/when it has one. :)
-if it can be spared... 1 or 2 of the mag pumps
-anything else you want to donate to my new setup :)

Thats it... I don't want any lighting or other equipment back. When I get back in the hobby, I plan on getting a new main tank and lighting. If I can get a bunch of frags back from what I'm giving plus some... that would help me out a lot. This is why I don't want to sell anything... I'd rather not worry about purchasing stuff when I get back in it. Again, I only want to offer this to people in the immediate Murfreesboro area. This way it would be easier for me to get what I'm requesting back in the future.

Here is the frag tank after first setting it up:

I don't have any pictures of my main tank. It would take too much work at the moment to clean the glass and get pictures. I will say that I have been plagued by hair algae :(

What do you think? Please let me know in this thread if you would like to do this. Also, please do not request me to split any of this stuff up. I'd like to keep it simple and just deal with one trustworthy person willing to do what I'm offering.

Thanks,
Ryan

After going back and reading this... I could just go ahead and keep the 58 gallon if its not needed by whomever takes this offer up. I was just trying to maximize my offer, but realize that someone may not want it just for a temporary setup. Anyway, we can just leave that out of the deal if needed... that way I wouldn't need to get it back in a year or so.

Thanks again,
Ryan

stating my case:
My name is Sean
I live in Murfreesboro
I have a 55gal with 4t5's
I like friends
I would be willing to transplant all of your corals into my current tank (up and running about 8 months)
I would set up the cube and keep the clowns and any low light requirement corals in it and keep the higher requirement corals under the t5's
I would gladly store any equipment for you ( own my own home with a 2 car garage)
I would gladly return any of the equipment that you would want when you return to the hobby
My tank has a few zoa and paly frags in it, one galaxea frag and some gsp. as far as aminals i have 2 clowns and a coral beauty that is very behaved around my polyps. I have the room for both the coral and the fish additions. I have a small refugium attached to my system with chaeto in it. I run a 9.5 mag for circulation through my sump and a kolalia 3 in tank. I use a seaclone 150 for skimming with a mj1200 modded pump.
I have a 10 month old daughter and moved here just over a year ago, I don't know a lot of people outside of the reef club. My wife is a zookeper at the nashville zoo and I work as a manager for a contracted company of tristar helath.
MY nitrates are undetectable, ca around 425
My wife wants a regal tang!
If you want to get together sometime and talk about things just pm me. I live near exit 78 off i-24
Thanks

I can also vouch for Sean, he is very nice person and i believe he is sincere in what he has proposed to you. That being said i guess i need someone to vouch for me!!! But i think he would be a great caretaker. Thanks and good luck with your projets!

Ill vouch for you Bill. His corals should be so lucky to live in your tank! Thanks again for inviting me into your home and showing me your new sump setup and tank the other day. You had a lot of valuable information.

Sean, it was a nice meeting you tonight. You have a nice looking tank and I hope everything thrives that you got from me tonight. I don't think we did a count... but I'd guess you got about 20 or so different kind of corals? :D

Here is a link for the Garf Purple Bonsai that I created a while back:
http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1087830

Maybe this will be beneficial for you and I hope it recovers. Its my favorite! If you read, you'll see most people keep it lower in the tank.

I'll stay in touch. ;)

I'd also like to thank everyone here for being friends for such a while. We truely do have a pretty good group of people. I'll check in from time to time and I'll probably be back in the hobby by this time next year.

Angela, if you read this... I'll be giving the recovered Regal Tang to Sean that you gave to me on its death bed. Remember it? I think Sean will make a good home for it. :)

Thanks,
Ryan

Ryan, it was nice to meet you too. I gave everyone a good scrubbing and freshwater dip before they went in. The frogspawn is already peaking out and I think the bonsai might make it, I am able to see tiny green spots that look to be retracted polyps. A few of the zoas have opened and one of the acans opened already too. My wife took a bunch of pics so that I can start a thread and post updates and some before and after shots might be fun. Your house is beautiful! If you need a hand with your projects feel free to give me a call or pm. I look forward to pouring a homebrewed cold one down my throat on that deck of yours this summer!
