Strange Specimen on my Brain Coral

Can anyone tell me what this is on my brain coral? It seems like it is on the actual skeleton... It is only visible at night when the brain part is all shrunken down.

It almost looks like a featherduster of some sort. Is it going to be harmful to the brain or anything else in my tank for that matter?

PS: And taking pictures at night is tough to get it in focus...!!

Yea its a macro duster worm they attach everywhere no probe safe
