Strange Way for Anenome to Eat

I have an Orange anemone that is very striking in color. I have noticed that the last few times I have fed it, the food can be seen in the tip of one of it's tentacles. The food in the tentacle disappears after an evening.

Anyone else have an anemone that feeds like this??

Here is a shot with normal tentacles (RBTA in background):

Here is the Orange anemone after feeding. You can see the food is now located in the tip of one tentacle:

Here is another picture of the food in the tip of a tentacle. The clowns will push this food filled tentacle around.

Are you sure it is the actual food item? I am not sure how it would get up there.

What type of anemone is it? What are feeding it?

Well, it is food or poop (same thing only older). This happens only about 15-30 minutes after I feed it, so I am pretty sure it is the food.

I don't know what type of anemone it is, it was billed as an orange BTA, but the tips are often multi-pointed and I have not seen the traditional bubble tip like I see on my RBTA or GBTA.

I am using a 250 watt Phoenix bulb with T-5 super blues to light my tank.

I don't know if it is the same tentacle or not....don't have the patience to map them out to see if it is the same one....too many flying around in the current!

I feed the tank and the anemone a mixture of flat pellets called Aquadine.
