Hey guys,
I recently noticed that one of my Zoanthid colonies looks like it lost a few polyps. Somehow over time I didn't notice, you know how slow changes dont really get noticed? So not sure how long its taken but i'd say 3-weeks and lost about 6-8 polyps out of the 30.
Anyways There are some yellow stringy worm like things sticking out where the polyps are that seem irritated. I cant get a pic that shows the worms due to the coral's placement.
At first I thought they were spaghetti worms but aren't those supposed to be harmless? Th strings look like this: http://www.melevsreef.com/pics/05/11/spaghetti_worm3.jpg Just not in a big ball.
Any good way to get rid of them? I can remove the plug and do a dip, would a freshwater one be efficient or should i get some Iodine?
Parameters of water should be good as everything else seems happy.
