strawberry basslet food

Hi i just bought a strawberry basslet and was wondering what is the best food to feed them,they seem very picky.

Mine eats pellet food, frozen mysis and other frozen marine foods. He's not the least bit picky, actually quite a little pig.

They are pigs. Depends on how your system is setup, ideally 3 times a day but most systems would get overloaded if fed that many times. You may just want to feed tiny amounts 3 times a day instead of filling em up.

Also if you keep live food (pods, mysid shrimp, plants) the fish can dine at their leisure.

i have feed frozen mysis fortified w/kent marine zoe for 2 years now to my strawberry. he is as fat as a root hog and in great shape.
