Strawberry velvet fairy wrasse with white patch on head

Hey the topic says it all. Its a Cirrhilabrus Rubrisquamos and its developed a white patch on its head which is spreading towards his eyes. Also hes not as outgoing and hides now, so i think someting is definitely up. Here are some pictures

any help would b awesome. dont want to lose this great fish

also note that the white patch has indented his head. looks pretty bad.

How long have you had this fish? Did is have this condition when you received it?

I don't know what that particular wrasse is supposed to look like, so if that is not normal, it might be a serious injury from accident, collection/handling, or fighting.

I've had him for almost 4 months, and this is the first time this has shown up. His head is supposed to be pink like the rest of his body. there is another fairy wrasse in the tank but it is half its size and i dont think could inflict such heavy injuries.
