I was comparing the stray voltage from some of my pumps last weekend. Volt meter on AC at the 200 v setting.
5 gallon pail tap water:
Eheim1250 13 volts (used 20 volt setting here
Eheim600 30 volts
Hydor K3 30 volts
1 gallon pail tap water:
Eheim600 20 volts
MJ1200 20 volts
Do you guys think testing in salt water would be higher or lower?
The volume of water seemed to impact the measurement for the Eheim600 pump, does this seem realistic?
The small pumps seemed to have more stray voltage, why do you think this would be?
