Stray voltage

So I had come home to my led sump light plug sitting in the water. It was from the wall to the water not plugged into the light. Could that be the reason for my sps losing color to the point of almost dying?

how long was it like that.....plugs often times have brass in/on them...

maybe copper contamination

Yikes that would be bad. It was like that for probably 13 hours. I'm guessing my phosphate got to low and I'm trying to blame the plug
